Aaron "Paul" Norton

November 4, 1957 — February 23, 2018

Our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend lost his courageous battle with cancer on February 23, 2018 at the age of 60.

Paul was born November 4, 1957 in Salt lake City, Utah to Leo and Charlene Norton, and grew up in West Bountiful, Utah. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1976.  He married Debbie (Heiner) June 16, 1978.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Family meant everything to Paul.  He loved spending time with his family, friends, golfing almost every weekend, coaching, and the University of Utah.

Paul worked in electrical distribution for many years, in home health care, and as a janitor where he met many lifelong friends.

He served in many callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He is survived by his children:  Mindi (Kevin) Harley, Natalie (Joseph) Crow, Eric & Stefani Norton, his ex-wife, Debbie, his brother, Rick “Dudley”, brother-in-law Dell Ray Nelson; 2 grandsons, Griffith and Lincoln Crow, and also many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Stan, and a sister Shonya Nelson.

Our family would like to thank all of the staff at Huntsman Cancer Hospital for the great care our dad received, and a bigger thank you to Dad’s “CAREGIVERS” his four children.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, March 2, 2018 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, where a visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 1,  from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and on Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 pm prior to the service.  Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
