Abigail Rose Knighton

It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of Abigail Rose Knighton on October 7th, 2024. 

Abigail was born on June 4th, 2003, to Jamie Hyde and Ross Knighton in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her parents and siblings; Justin Knighton (Heather), Tony Knighton, and Holly Knighton. Niece and nephews; Alec Knighton, Griffin Knighton, Mak Knighton, Izak Knighton, Libby Knighton, and Eddy Knighton. Grandmother Merlinda Bradshaw Pierce (Gary). Uncles; Jason Hyde, Stan Knighton (Kathy), Ted Knighton (Pam), Danny Knighton, Myron (Shauna) Knighton. Aunts; Megann Gulrud (Paul), DesaRae Hyde, Betty Braiser, Karen Gillett, Chris Knighton and her fur babies Luci, Hazel, Jack, Chloe, Buddy, and Brewster.

She is proceeded in death by her grandparents; Myron J Knighton, Ruth Fay Ball, and Darrel LeRoy Hyde. Aunts; Bethany Hyde, Eileen Knighton, Joyce Knighton, and Jan Knighton. Uncles; Steve Knighton, Larry Knighton, and her fur baby Mable.

Abigail, also known by her family as Abby, was a huge light in this world. She touched lives everywhere she went with her compassionate heart. She cared so deeply for those around her, she would give the world to you if you needed it. She was stubborn in the best way. Her humor brought smiles to everyone around her and her laugh was so infectious. She loved her fur babies so much, she could go on forever about them all. 

Abigail was herself through and through. Genuine, kind, uplifting, loyal, understanding, resilient. She was an absolutely beautiful soul. 

A celebration of life will be held at The Bridge Community church on October 16th, 2024, from 7pm-9pm. The address is 1284 W 75 N, Centerville, UT 84014. The service will also be live streamed and you can join online at https://thebridgeutah.org/watch-live

I urge everyone to come if you can. She loved every single one of you and I know she would love to have you all there.
