When asked how he was feeling, Irwin would always reply, “Just grand!”
The 8th of 13 children, Irwin was a kind, positive and uplifting man who lived a life of service and friendship to others. Born Oct. 15, 1929, to Oscar and Susie Hunsaker, Irwin died April 11, 2022, at the grand old age of 92. He is survived by one brother, Grant.
Irwin served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Switzerland as well as serving in the army in Germany where he “enjoyed” adventures that he didn’t expect to find there.
Irwin worked many years for Lynn Wilson Foods, delivering food to stores. He was ever a cheerfully hard worker. Irwin always kept busy; he lived a life of dedicated service to his mother, doing everything that needed to be done and keeping a lovely yard and cabin at Bear Lake.
Later in life Irwin sang tenor with the Utah Oratorio Society, ushered at the Conference Center, and served a mission in the Salt Lake Temple. Irwin loved and lived the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful where a viewing will be held from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to services.
