Adrianus "Andy" Visser

Adrianus "Andy" Visser died on March 1, 2018. Andy was born October 26, 1940 in Rotterdam, Holland to Hendrika Van Schynder and Hymen Cornelis Visser. His family came to the United States through Ellis Island when Andy was 12. He was very proud to have become a U.S. Citizen.
Andy Married Diane Van Campen on June 6, 1959 in Preston, Idaho. To this union was born their Daughter, Debbie. Together with Diane's son Mike, they started their new family.
He had worked for Anchor Equipment and Williamson Truck Equipment for many years until he and his brother "Dutch" started D & A Truck Equipment, where he continued his career until his retirement in 1998.
Andy was a member of Salt Lake Lodge # 17 F & AM and a proud member of the El Kalah Shrine Mounted Patrol. He was an excellent horseman, fisherman, craftsman, tinkerer and a devoted friend to all who knew him.
He loved all animals especially his horses and the 3 Border Collies, Max, Riley, and Gus – his "Kids"
Andy lost his Sweetheart, Diane, in 2010 and he always missed her. He is survived by his daughter Debbie (Mark) Moulton; son Mike (Chris) Nelson; Granddaughters, Michele Nelson, Shealee (JD) Evans, Baylie Moulton, and Tristan Moulton; Grandsons, Brandan Moulton and Travis Moulton and their families; Great Grandkids, Caleigh, Jersie, Stetson, Logan, and Wyatt; his brother Cornelis "Dutch" (Jolene) Visser; and many nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main St. Bountiful, Utah on Saturday, March 10, 2018 where a visitation will be held from 12:45-1:45 p.m. and the Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery immediately following with a Masonic Burial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to Intermountain Unit, Shriner's Hospital. "Gone Fishin', You're in Charge"
