Our sweet Mother Adrienne Leona Rice Badger peacefully slipped away on December 10, 2022 from causes incident to age. She was born on October 12th, 1936 in Fresno, California to Adrian and Jeanette Rice and learned the hard working skills that would serve her throughout her life working on her family’s Dairy Farm. This is also where she picked up her love for dogs. She attended BYU where she met and married Franklin Alonzo Badger. Even though their marriage didn’t last, from this union came her 6 sons whom she adored. She spent her life and energy doing everything for them, nobody cheered louder for her boys. Later in life she entered the work force working many years at Zion’s Bank and then finishing up as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley over Retirement Planning. Adrienne loved her grandkids, going to their games, family parties, BYU, her dogs, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, and Alabama. She loved to sing along to the total embarrassment of her sons and grandchildren. We will especially miss her singing with all her heart “Give Me One More Shot” by Alabama. Her example of hard work, loyalty, and devoted faith to her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ were traits her family will always hold dear. Thankfully her family had time to say goodbye to her before she passed through the veil to the waiting arms of her son Steve, her family who have gone before, and the tail wagging of her many dogs who’ve been waiting for her for a long time. She left the world a better place and we will miss her. She is survived by her sons Michael (Joy), Kelly, Chris (Christine), Matt (Juana), Scott (Nicholle), her grandchildren Brittany (Joseph), Cordell (Jenni), Jaron (Kyla), Connor (Krystal), Kylee (Jon), Michelle (Casey), Morgan (Jerry), Arielle (Cliff), Jake, Haley (Talon), Caden, Austin, Ashlyn, Jared, Adrienne, Maegan, Joseph, Shaylee, Charli, Henry, and great grandchildren Lilli, James, Marli, Beau, Ace, Steelo, Ayako, James, Lillian, Benjamin, Juliette, Jenavieve, Baird, and Lochlan. She was preceded in death by her son Steve (Cherice), parents Adrian and Jeanette, and sisters Arlene and Yvonne. The family would like to thank the awesome staff of Country Care, Whisper Cove, and Canyon Care Hospice for their loving care for our Mother. We’ll see you again.
