Aileen Fowler Freckleton

Aileen Fowler Freckleton, born on July 25, 1931, in Bountiful, Utah, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024 in her home, at the age of 93. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who lived a life centered around her love of family and faith. Aileen married her beloved husband, Wayne B Freckleton, on August 31, 1954, and together they built a beautiful family.

She is survived by her children, Sandy Freckleton Gagon (Dave) and Michael Wayne Freckleton (Elizabeth), along with seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, daughter Wayleen Kelly, both of her parents, and all of her siblings.

Aileen was a seeker of knowledge and truth, a lover of music, an avid reader, and a dedicated supporter of the arts. She found joy in travel and spent her life as a student of the world. Most importantly, she had a deep love for Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, which guided her life.

The family would like to thank her caregivers at Intermountain Medical Center and Aspen Ridge West skilled nursing facility. 

Her legacy of love, faith, and service will be celebrated at a memorial service on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful East Stake Center, 650 E. 2150 S. Bountiful, UT 84010. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Friday morning from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.

She will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
