Alfred Harold Jewell Jr.

Alfred Harold Jewell, Jr. was born September 14, 1932 in Tecumseh, Michigan to Alfred Harold Jewell, Sr. and Sarah Gertrude Jewell. He passed away on March 31, 2016 in Bountiful, Utah.
After graduating from Tecumseh High School in 1951, Alfred joined the United States Air Force the following year, where he spent 20 years of active duty before retiring in 1972 and moving to Woods Cross, Utah with his wife Joyce and son Ray. After retiring from his second career as a heavy equipment mechanic, Alfred enjoyed spending time volunteering at the Hill Aerospace Museum as well as tending to his home garden.
He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Lee Jewell and two sisters Kathryn Jewell and Dorothy Mahrle. He is survived by his son Ray Jewell, his sisters Helen Jewell and Norma Every, as well as his brother Roy Jewell.
There will be a viewing Monday, April 4, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., also at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful.
