Alfred Calvin Riness Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Calvin Riness Jr. (Bountiful, Utah), who passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2023, at the age of 73.

Cal was an outstanding maintenance man / handyman. He could fix anything. He was a hardworking man for most of his life. 

Cal was born in Benton Harbor MI and spent most of his childhood and young adult life traveling the United States. 

He loved Dogs, Cats, Horses, Goats, Chickens, music and jewelry making.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred Sr. Riness and Eva Riness and his sister Marsha Bransom. He is survived by his wife Susan Riness, his children, Cal III Riness (Dana), Sean Riness, Stepchildren Shelly Freund (Mike), Shane Pearce (Bobbi); his grandchildren, Caden, Alyssa, Thomas, Nathan, Jeff, Madi, Kenna and Jaxon; and his siblings, Linda Riness, Gary Riness (Maureen), and Patricia Roller (Bruce).

Per his wishes there will be no services.
