Alfred Schneider

Alfred Schneider passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 20, 2017. Born June 28, 1932 to Otto Goetz and Margareta Schneider in Heidelberg, Germany, Alfred was a true example of what it means to serve his Heavenly Father and fellow man.

Having served his country in the United States Army earlier in his life, Alfred then worked for Ohio Bell. He then moved to Salt Lake City, where he worked for the LDS Church. He enjoyed serving daily in the LDS Temple, and constantly looked for opportunities to assist at Welfare Square. Alfred has been a member of the Capitol Hill Ward for the past 25 years, and was preceded in death by his parents.  

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at noon, at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 E. 1300 S., Salt Lake City.
