Alice Joy LaRocco Tueller, age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2007, in Bountiful, Utah to be reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Scott Tueller. Born February 24, 1917 in Dingle, Idaho the daughter of Joseph Edward LaRocco and May Sparks Cook LaRocco. Married Scott Junior Tueller October 21, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. She is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving as a Young Men & Women?s Counselor, Second Counselor in the Primary, Relief Society Work Director, teacher, and numerous other callings. Mom and Dad fulfilled a ?Family to Family? mission. She was a 4-H leader. Mom loves horses, camping, working in the yard, children, and tending her grandchildren. In their younger years, Mom and Dad loved to square dance. She is an awesome cook; loves to do handy work creating beautiful afghans, quilts, doilies, and baby blankets. She is a great example, helping others, serving, and has a beautiful smile. She has a great love for her family and the gospel. Survived by five children, Tana Simmons, Janet Bentsen Moss, Brenda Oliekan, Rick Tueller, and Cindy Shawn Porter; sibling Nello Gale LaRocco; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers Dennis LaRocco, Joseph Rex LaRocco, and Cecil Cook LaRocco. We love you mom and miss you so much, but we take strength in knowing you and Dad are whole and together once more. A special thanks to all the friends and neighbors for their love and support and also to Russon Brothers Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Bountiful 24th Ward Chapel, 720 East 550 North. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
