Alice Lucile Johnsen

Lucile’s wonderful husband was one of many, welcoming her with love when she passed away December 12, 2012. Her family celebrates this reunion and 100 years of her precious life. Born March 13, 1912, she was the eldest of 5 Sisters and 3 Brothers. She loved the Lord, Jesus Christ and as she tells it, knew her prayers were answered when she met and married her loving husband Willard Johnsen in 1934. Lucile worked many years in the LDS Family History Library and enjoyed genealogy and helping others with their family histories. Her talents for making all things beautiful through sewing, painting, crocheting- just to name a few have touched many throughout her life. Lucile is preceded in death by her husband and 3 children, and is survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters as well as many nieces and nephews who will deeply miss her… “Love you! Love you! Love you!” as she would always say.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Kimball Mill LDS Chapel, 650 South 200 East, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held from 9:45- 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. She will be laid to rest at the Deweyville Cemetery that afternoon.
