Alice Potter

July 4, 1920 — April 9, 2012

Alice Linton Potter left this life to be with her beloved Melvin in the early morning hours on April 9, 2012. Alice was born July 4, 1920, the 9th of 11 children, to John Barrett and Frances Mary Child Linton in Logan, Utah. She was sealed to Melvin Wallace Potter in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had 8 children; Mary and Gary Steadman, Wallace Edwin (deceased), and Arlene, Ina and Blaine (deceased) Hoskins, Scott and Cindy Potter, Vera and Paul Christensen, Shirley and Craig Hilton, Emily and Chuck Montgomery, Susan and Mark Downs; 39 grandchildren; 93 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Survived by her sister, Edith L. Jackson and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, son-in-law and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Centerville Canyon Ward Chapel, 160 South 300 East. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Salt Lake City Cemetery.
