Alice Jennie Wicker Stringham

Alice Jennie Wicker Stringham of Bountiful, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 8, 2022.

Jennie was born January 4, 1925 in Bountiful, Utah.  She was the middle child of Orin Walter Wicker and Ellen Louise (Nellie) Hayes Wicker.

She graduated from Davis High School in 1943.  She worked at the Bountiful State Bank for several years prior to becoming a full-time homemaker.

She married the love of her life, Stanley Hogan Stringham, on March 22, 1947.  They were later sealed in the Bountiful Temple on October 15, 2015.  Together they had six children.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in various callings.

Her greatest joy in life were her children and grandchildren and she was proud of all their accomplishments.

Jennie and Stan loved traveling together, especially cruises and land tours.  They were grateful for all the trips they were able to take over the years.

She is survived by her six children, Alene, Mark, Lynn, Steve, Dean and Scott (Candice); nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and sister Helen Fawn Felt.

She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Hogan Stringham; sister Reva Louise Clark and brothers Howard Hayes Wicker and Harry Bruce Wicker.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 12:30 pm-1:30 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.  Graveside dedication will follow at 2:00 pm at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful.
