After living with a rare form of thyroid cancer for six and a half years, Allen Tidwell passed away on November fourth. He was born November 2, 1964 to Gene and MaryAnn Tidwell. His loving parents taught him to work hard and be happy with what you have. Most of all they instilled in him a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Allen worked alongside his father in a family owned masonry business for many years. Most recently he worked for Moore Green. He served faithfully as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He treated everyone he met with love and respect. He loved camping, backpacking, canoeing and gardening. His greatest loves however where God and his family. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara; children: Taylor (Josh) Foster, Samantha, Dylan; his parents Gene and MaryAnn Tidwell; siblings Gordon (Ronna), Penny, Monica (Brian) Crump, Shane (Nicole), Aimee (Ryan) Campbell, Nancy (Sean) Richins; In-laws and many nieces and nephews. He was not a man to express his feelings verbally but his actions spoke volumes. He loved them each dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 11th, with a short viewing preceding from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the North Salt Lake Parkway Stake Center, 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake, Utah. Friends and family may visit Friday, November 10th, between 6 and 8 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.
