Alma Mary Hamilton Brines

Alma Mary Hamilton Brines, a long-time resident of Centerville Utah passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at the age of 84. Alma was born on May 3,1934 in Myton Utah to Stephen C. Hamilton and Arline G. Smith Hamilton. She married Carl Willard Brines in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 29, 1952. They were later sealed in the Los Angeles, CA, LDS Temple. She and Carl were the parents of two sons, Aubrey Ray Brines (deceased) and Carl Willard Brines II.

At one time, Alma and Carl worked side by side in a small printer service business in Salt Lake. Alma was a very precise and accomplished seamstress. Her handiwork included sewing clothing, and all kinds of knitting, crocheting and embroidery work. She was also a beautiful painter and particularly liked to paint birds and flowers in nature.

Alma is survived by her son Carl, five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Carl and her four siblings, Steve, Elva, Tom and Rhea.

A graveside service for Alma will be held Saturday, August 18, at 12:00 noon in the Centerville City Cemetery located at 650 East 400 South, Centerville UT.
