Alta Eileen Huber passed away peacefully at her home in Farmington, Utah, on January 21, 2025, at 93, surrounded by family and her husband, Paul Huber. Eileen was born on August 10, 1931, in Payson, Utah, to Leonard Paul Gasser and Wilma Spencer Gasser.
She attended Payson High School where she was good friends with Paul. She married Don Bowen, also from Payson, and they raised five children but eventually divorced. Years later, she again met Paul at a singles church dance; and they were married in June 1973, living very happily together in Bountiful for 52 years.
Eileen enjoyed making quilts for family and friends and became a very talented oil painter. She and Paul created many memories flying, boating, traveling with their fifth-wheel trailer, and square dancing for more than 40 years before moving to an assisted living center in Farmington in 2021.
She was most grateful for the magnificent medical care she received from family and professional personnel before her passing. She will be missed very much by friends and loved ones who look forward to being reunited again someday.
