Althea Holbrook

Althea Holbrook, 84, died September 17, 2015.  She was born on June 18, 1931 in San Francisco, California to Archie and Margaret Hawkins.

She attended Ontario High School in Ontario, Oregon.  She married James D. Holbrook on December 23, 1949.  They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Over the years, she worked as a medical assistant, baker, and secretary.

She loved her family dearly.  She was kind and thoughtful to all she met.  She enjoyed playing the organ and piano.  She especially loved her high school sweetheart and husband, Jim.

Althea is survived by her children, Cindy (D) Warnock, Mike (Jolene) Holbrook, Margaret (Jerry) Boren, and Doug Holbrook (Dawn/fiance), 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Clayton Warnock.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 23rd, at the Bountiful 26th Ward, 200 N. 200 W.   Friends and family may call on Tuesday, September 22nd  from 6-8 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, Utah, and from 9:45-10:45am at the church prior to the service.
