Alvin Losee

April 25, 1943 — December 20, 2010

Alvin John Losee, 67, passed away December 20, 2010 at his daughters home in San Antonio, Texas after a battle with Parkinsons Disease. He was born, Easter Sunday April 25, 1943 in El Monte, California to Leland Leslie Losee and Carolyn Horspool Losee. He graduated from Alhambra High School in Alhambra, California. He served a mission in the North British Mission. He received a Bachelors Degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. He married Wanda Fay Ashcraft August 18, 1966 in the Idaho Falls Temple. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany for 2 years. Alvin worked for Union Oil in California, University of Utah and for Kennecott/Rio Tinto as a Controller at several mine locations. Alvin served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served as a temple worker in the Bountiful Temple and in the Church Audit Department. Proceeded in death by his parents and a grandson Chase Paul Hill. Survived by wife Wanda Fay, Children Teri Ann (Peter) Roming, Troy Alan (Syrenna) Losee, Toni Anete (Brook) Hill, and Tami Alaine (Mark) Wayman, 11 grandchildren, sister Virginia Losee. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening January 5, 2010 from 6-8pm at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. 295 N Main Street with a family service the next day. Interment will be in the Centerville City Cemetery.
