Alvin Louis Gerholdt

Alvin L. Gerholdt, 81, of Centerville, UT, died November 19, 2016.  Alvin passed away following a valiant battle with cancer.  He was born October 1, 1935, in Waterloo, IA, son of Glen and Alene Nichol Gerholdt. 

He graduated from Waterloo East High School and served in the Navy as a Sea Bee.  He retired from Sea Ray Boats in Phoenix, Arizona.  Al went on to work in several assisted living facilities after retirement because of his love for helping the elderly.

He is survived by his wife Tanya Gerholdt, daughters Sheila (Craig) Koepke of Cedar Falls, IA; Kathy (Bob) Burke of Wayne, NE; Sherri (Rob) Kunzler of Farmington, UT; Becky (Pete) Graham of Martinez, CA; and son Robert (Theresa) Gerholdt of Winfield, MO; 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by:  Parents and two brothers Lester and Ronald Gerholdt.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, at 11:00 AM at Russon Brothers Mortuary, located at 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, UT  84025.  A viewing will be held that morning from 9:30-10:30pm at the same location.  Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates located at 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT  84123 at approximately 1:00 PM.
