Alyce Clairae Dunsmoor Heap, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully in her home in the presence of family on the morning of Friday, April 6th, 2012.
Clairae was born on April 14th, 1952 in Moscow, Idaho, to Herbert Clair Dunsmoor and Connie Rae Cheney and was the oldest of five children.
Clairae married her life-long love and sweetheart, David L. Heap in the St. George LDS Temple on June 5th, 1971. They are the parents of five children. Her example of unwearied diligence, patience, dedication, faithful endurance, quiet strength, and enduring love was felt by all who knew her. Her faithful devotion to the Lord, her husband, children and grandchildren will be cherished in their hearts forever. She leaves behind countless dear friends and associations and will be greatly missed.
Clairae is survived by her husband, David L. Heap, children, David M. (Jamie), Jenny, Karl (Amy), Adam (Jamie), Ryan (Carmen), and 12 grandchildren; siblings Milan (Dendy), Mark (Karla), Robin (Pam), and Rosemary.
Funeral services honoring Clairaes life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 13th, 2012 at the Bountiful Utah Val Verda Stake Center, 2651 South 500 West. Family and friends may visit Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah and from 10:30-11:30 am prior to the services held at the stake center.
