Ann Valeen Roberts Borneman

February 14, 1946 — October 12, 2016

The spirit world was enriched on October 12, 2016 by my sweet wife Ann Valeen Roberts Borneman slipping to the other side of the veil.  She left me behind with 40 years of precious memories and our five living children –  Kristen (Jason Howlett), Ryan (Jennifer Hein), Dustin (Amanda Midgley), Brittney (Ryan Allenbach), and Stacie.  To escort her to the other side was our son Jason, her parents, many sisters and brothers, former missionary companions, and friends.

Valeen was a dynamic and vibrant woman. She loved to tell stories about her two-year mission to Quebec, Canada speaking French, and her world travels. Her analytical mind served her well as a math teacher at Davis High School, where she connected with students and teachers. Her gift was teaching for understanding. Imaginary numbers were not imaginary to her. I stand in awe.

Valeen’s real passion was her family (well, and chocolate).  Her love was reflected in consistent home evenings, gospel teaching, daily family meals, homework before play, and the list goes on.  And yes, the kids turned out great! Her service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will cascade through 16 grandchildren, leaving a lasting legacy of faith.  As I’ve always told her, “Well done young lady. You are my sunshine.” Love, Russ.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah and Thursday, October 20th from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Farmington Utah North Stake Center 729 Shepard Lane, Farmington, Utah.  Her funeral will follow at 10:30 A.M.

Interment- Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park.
