Ann Woolley Graham
1933 – 2015
With a tear in her eye, our sweet, loving mother passed away peacefully on May 18, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Ann was born on Nov. 14, 1933 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada to Kirtland Goddard Woolley and Vivian Bertha Sheppard. She was the oldest of four children. She attended Davis High School and graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in English. After returning home from serving an LDS mission in California, she married her eternal sweetheart, Gene Sumsion Graham on May 28, 1959 in the Salt Lake temple. Gene and Ann settled in Bountiful and raised 3 children: Jan, Jeri and Tim.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many ward and stake callings including playing the piano for daily devotionals at Heritage Place. She dedicated her life to the service of others wherever she saw a need. She enjoyed serving in the Bountiful temple, with her husband, Gene and took every opportunity to attend the temple. She is well known for her homemade cards and kind notes. She will be remembered by many for the hours spent preparing them to serve missions and enter the temple.
Ann is survived by her children: Jan Thurston (Marv), Orem; Jeri Johnson (Rick), Centerville; Tim W. Graham, Layton, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, brother Kent Woolley (Sherri) and brother-in-law Robert M. Graham.
Preceded in death by her husband, Gene S. Graham, sister Rae Willoughby, brother Craig Woolley and daughter-in-law Suzette Graham. Special thanks to the staff at Heritage Place and Hospice of Utah, who lovingly took care of Ann during the last few years of her life.
A viewing will be held in her honor on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, UT from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Bountiful North Stake Center, 1550 N. 400 E., Bountiful (use Pages Lane due to road construction on 400 East), at 11 am, with a viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment will follow at the Bountiful cemetery.
