Anna Harriet Cluff

Passed peacefully at 4 p.m., Friday July 5, 2013 at home in Farmington.
Born September 8, 1922 in Salt Lake City to Fritz Marinus and Anna Marie Petronella Bytendorp Jensen. Second youngest of nine siblings, Anna was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband Charles Cluff. Anna is survived by sister-in-law Helen Cluff, four sons, Ed, Chuck, Conrad and Collin, two daughter-in-laws, eight grand children, three great- grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Anna attended Columbus grade school and graduated from South High School in 1941. After attending LDS Business College she served the WWII effort inspecting ammunition. Later she worked for Metro Goldwin Mayer and then Paramount Pictures Distributing in Salt Lake City.
On September 7, 1951, Anna married Charles A. Cluff. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They managed the Waldorf Apts for Congressman William A. Dawson for the next 5 years while Charles finished college. When they moved to Bountiful, Anna became a homemaker while raising her sons. After moving to Farmington Anna began working for the Davis County clerk and remained until retirement.
Anna dearly loved her family, friends, neighbors, children, flowers, deer and birds in the yard, sunsets, singing and conducting choir, church, movies, inspirational quotes, a joke, a long drive to see the fall leaves and a nice hot cup of tea.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Compton Bench Ward, 850 N. Compton Rd., Farmington. Family and friends may visit Saturday from 12:00 1:45 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment Farmington City Cemetery.
