Anna Jeannine Hunter Clark

June 30, 1929 — December 9, 2018

Anna Jeannine Hunter Clark passed away on December 9, 2018 after a long and brave battle with Alzheimer's disease.  Her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, Dallas Dean Clark, cared for her for many years and was at her side when she passed from this life, as were all seven of her children.
Jeannine was born June 30, 1929 in Paul, Idaho.  She was born a twin, and although her twin brother, LaDean, died during birth, she was raised as a twin with her sister Myrna, who was born one year later.  Jeannine and Myrna were inseparable and were married in a double wedding ceremony in Paul, Idaho on June 24, 1953.  Jeannine and Dallas' marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 3, 1965.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions of service and leadership in the Church.  She and her husband were ordinance workers in the Bountiful Temple for seven years.
Jeannine loved her family greatly and served and supported them throughout her life.  She loved the color red.  She also loved music and sunshine and had a mischievous sense of humor, but couldn't tell a funny story without collapsing in laughter before finishing.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her father, Hyrum Lowell Hunter and her mother, Adalaide Jane Cozzens, as well as her three brothers, Golden, LaDean and Edward; her four sisters, Elsie, Adalaide, Zelda and Myrna; and one great-granddaughter.
Jeannine is the mother of seven wonderful children, Linda Rae (Chris) Boren, Stephen Hunter (Suzette) Clark, Carol Ann (John) Grady, Diane Jeannine (Jim) Walker, Debra Ann (Mike) Mullin, Kerry Dallas (Alison) Clark and David Alan (Char) Clark.  She is the grandmother of 27 and the great-grandmother of 36 and will soon add two more great-grandchildren to her family.
Jeannine will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association to help in the search for a cure for this devastating disease.
Family and friends may visit at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, on Friday evening, December 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, December 15 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Bountiful, Utah Orchard First Ward, 3707 South 800 West, Bountiful, Utah, prior to her funeral service at 12 noon.  Jeannine will be laid to rest in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
