Annamae Angerbauer

July 26, 2012 — June 6, 2012

Annamae (Ann) Billeter Angerbauer, 82, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher and friend returned to her Savior with joy and honor on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She suffered from dementia and demonstrated remarkable courage and grace. Ann was born July 26, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Julius Billeter and Celeste Pingree Billeter. She married Ralph E. Angerbauer in the Salt Lake Temple on November 21, 1952.
Annamae graduated from East High School and continued her valued high school friendships and relationships until her passing. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Utah. She taught second grade for a total of 28 years in the Salt Lake and Davis County School Districts. She will long be remembered by the hundreds of students she taught, including those for over 20 years at Adelaide Elementary in Bountiful, Utah. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the professional teacher’s honor society.
Her most cherished roles were with her family, serving her husband, three children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family members. She found great fulfillment planning family activities that were always major events. We will all remember “Grams” Sunday family dinners, birthday parties, holidays, Fourth of July vacations in Provo, and annual traditions. These activities and family traditions have continued and will continue to honor and remember Mom’s loving service, nurturing acts of kindness and unselfish devotion for her family.
Ann was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved teaching Primary and Young Women classes. She enjoyed attending the temple and serving faithfully as a visiting teacher. She had a firm testimony of the Savior and the Restored Gospel.
Annamae is survived by her husband, Ralph; children, Steven (Cynthia) Angerbauer, Shauna Mackey Angerbauer, Sue (Lynn) Higgs and David (Rose) Angerbauer; 22 grandchildren (including spouses); and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth (Richard) Belliston, and other cherished sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and their family members. Annamae was preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers, Bud, Herald and Gerald, and many other loved family members.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012 at the LDS Bountiful Thirty-Ninth Ward, 600 East 1500 South, Bountiful, Utah.
