Mom was tired of sitting around the house, not being able to get up and dance like she used to, so she decided that she was done here on earth and left us to be with her best friend and partner in crime, Varnell Dobson. I know they are dancing now.
Mom was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Allen and Rosa Larsen. She attended and graduated Highland High School and still had many friends from that era.
In life, she had many challenges that she was able to overcome, while working full time as a bookkeeper for many businesses. After Varnell came and swept her off her feet, she decided to join him in his adventures and became a truck driver. She loved talking about the adventures that they had while traveling across this great nation, also the wonderful memories she had of her mother and father while growing up.
April is preceeded in death by her parents, Ross and Rosa, her best friend Varnell, and two grandchildren, Amberly and David.
She is survived by her brother, Jim (LaRee) Larsen, children: Rick Malin, Rebecca Malin, Todd (Betty) Montgomery, 33 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and two loving animals, Reeses and Hemi.
She would like to thank all of her loving neighbors, Oliver and Luci Ullibarri, Steve and Julie Farrer, and the Kellers, for all their loving support when she most needed it.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in the chapel at the Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah 84065.
