Arba and John were married in 1940 and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1942. They were blessed with 6 children, 29 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. Their extended family now numbers well over 100. John preceded her death in 1999, with their youngest daughter, Laurel Bruce Olson following in 2001. They also served an 18 month mission in North Carolina. Arba was a masterful homemaker, cook, gardener, seamstress, and quilter. Each Christmas, she baked 72 pecan pies as gifts for John?s customers, friends, and neighbors.
