Ardeath Jean Reid

Ardeath Jean Allen Reid, of Bountiful, Utah, passed away at her home on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the age of 87.

Ardeath was born to parents William Wallace and Viola Temperance Allen on February 13, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up as the second child of five children and attended Granite High School. In 1954, she married Gary Reid in Redondo Beach, California.

Ardeath married Gary Reid June 4,1954, and the couple had four children. Ardeath is survived by daughter, Linda Robertson (Gerry); son, Gary W. Reid (Rosina); and daughters Leslie Reid and Darla Reid, her sisters, Fae Nebeker Lang and Gayle Bressler, brothers William Allen (Betty) and Blaine Allen (Effie); 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Reid; parents, William Wallace and Viola T. Allen.

The family would like to thank those from the Davis County Senior Services for the help they provided the last few months of her life and a special thank you to Ashley Meyers for the loving help she provided to our mother.

A viewing of the body was made available to the children April 27, 2018. The cremation took place Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Family members are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:30 am at the Bountiful 39th Ward building, Bountiful, Utah.
