Ardith (Anne) Moore Cloughley Boyd

May 19, 1919 — January 23, 2018

A Wonderful Life-Well I almost made it to 100! What a century it has been. What changes!
I was born in a little log farmhouse in Rigby, ID. To Clarence Eugene Moore, and Luella Adams Moore, May 19, 1919. There was no electricity, telephone, or water-just outdoor plumbing. We did have a Model T Ford parked out near our buggy. Now everything has changed, we have gone far beyond the basics to computers, and space travel.
We moved from the farm to SLC in 1929. I attended East High and the U of U a 1940 graduate in art and education. I taught school at Highland Park for just one year. WWII had begun and I was needed in the family business, Moore Butcher Supply. I met the man I was to marry Charles T. Cloughley Jr., during wartime, but he was soon on his way to Europe. After 2 ½ years he returned and we were married in the SL Temple Dec. 1, 1945. We were blessed with one daughter, Joy. We spent 46+ years together raising our daughter, building houses, selling books, and serving in the LDS church in many callings. We were temple workers in the Jordan River Temple when we were called on a temple mission to the Wash. DC Temple. That was a great experience!  Later we traveled to Asia and Europe. Charles had several heart attacks; the 4th one took his life. He died July 19, 1991.
I was the middle child of 7 children. Deceased are Weldon, Raleigh, Gladys, and now me.
Surviving are Eugene, Charles, and Keith Moore, Daughter Joy, and Son in Law, Brent Urry. Four Grandchildren: Jadon Urry (Taryn), Larissa Freestone (Allen) Clinton Urry (Haley), Tara Petersen (Tyler). Ten Great Grandchildren:  Austin, Braden, Carter Freestone, Trayden Furniss, Summit, Sayge  Urry, Beckett, Dempsey Joy, Parley Petersen and Lawson Urry.
I have been blessed to have a companion for my old age. I married Frank E. Boyd November 17, 2000 and we enjoyed 11 years together. He died Aug. 6, 2011.
I want to thank Joy and Brent for their wonderful care of me in their home in my last years. Also,  many thanks to my nurses, Penny, Stephanie, Abby, Becky, and  Debbie, for their loving care. Special thanks to Brooke from Heartwood Hospice. All my love, see you on the other side.
A viewing will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 12:00-12:45 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main,  Bountiful. Funeral services will follow at 1:00. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial.
