Arlie Hancock Humphreys

April 24, 1925 — April 13, 2018

Our beautiful mom can finally see clearly, move freely and understand completely.  Mom was reunited with our dad and brothers on April 13, 2018, just 11 days short of her 93rd birthday.  She lived a long and full life despite the struggles she endured and left a legacy of love, compassion and loyalty.  Arlie was born in McCammon, Idaho on April 24, 1925 to Clara Lewis and Warren Leroy Hall.  She was accomplished in her school work and worked in the office of her high school her senior year, having completed all requirements for graduation early.  She married JB (Joseph Brent) Hancock on January 6, 1946 and they were later sealed in the Temple for all eternity.  Mom was an accomplished musician playing the flute, piano and organ.  She could play any tune by ear.  She loved her Savior and held many church callings including Primary President and was the Relief Society pianist for over 35 years.  She worked in the medical field as a certified transcriptionist for most of her working years and received several recognitions for her skills.  Arlie and JB had 4 children, Brent (Diane) Hancock, Kathie (Rodney) Green, Don (Kathie) Hancock and Carla (Douglas) Layne. JB passed away in 2001 and she married C. Wayne Humphreys on January 12, 2007.  Wayne was a loving companion and dedicated caregiver and is much loved and appreciated by all. We would also like to thank Debbie and Sherry from Inspiration Hospice for the loving care they provided for our mom.  Arlie is survived by her husband, Wayne, her daughters Kathie and Carla, daughter-in-law Diane as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband JB, sons Brent and Don, step-daughter Sandy Warren, grandsons Joel Green, Jeremy Green and Steven Hancock  and great-grandson Brandon Hancock. Mom was our favorite redhead and will greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
