Arline Mann passed away May 20, 2022 at her home in West Bountiful, Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City on February 24, 1945 to Ralph Hawkins Roderick and Nadine Shumway Roderick. She was a spunky girl who was a dancer and majorette. She married Harold Dee Mann in the Salt Lake Temple on December 11, 1964. Arline’s life was her family and she fervently watched over and guided them from childhood into adulthood. Her faith was extremely important to her and she wholeheartedly fulfilled her church callings in many capacities, serving people of all ages. She was an accomplished seamstress and sewed much of her family’s clothing and each of her grandchildren received a custom made comforter on their eighth birthday. Most of all, she loved having parties and was always looking for a reason to get the family together. In their later years, Mom and Dad were together every waking hour with special time spent on camping trips, vacationing with friends, and visiting their children. Harold passed away in 2014. Arline fiercely missed him every day they were apart but she thoroughly enjoyed visits from her family and her many wonderful friends and neighbors over the past eight years.
She is survived by her children, Roger (Jill), Shane, Trina Higgins (Michael), Ben (Nicole) and Tyler (Sandi), 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her loving sisters Adele and Zenabeth, and Harold’s siblings.
