Arlos Dean Fordham

Our sweet, kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on April 30, 2018. Arlos Dean Fordham was born on June 27, 1927, in Greenville, Utah, to George Albert Fordham and Jeanette Calvert Fordham. Dean served his country honorably in both the Army and the Navy. He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, afterward working in many diverse capacities: milkman, manager, real estate and home health. He finally retired at age 85 while working at the South Davis Recreation Center.

Dean married the love of his life, Shirley, in 1954. Their love has endured for 63 years, lasting through hardships and especially kids! Dean was loved by everyone who knew him and adored by children. He was the best neighborhood Grandpa ever. Dean is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley, his children Sam, David (Donna), Stewart, Deborah (Steve), Kevin (lorry), as well as 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Brasher (Lynn), the last of the Fordham bunch.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 pm, and on Monday, May 7, 2018, from 12:30-1:30 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 N Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. A graveside service will follow the viewing at 2:00 pm on Monday at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, Utah.
