Arnold Arneson

d. May 12, 2007

On May 12, 2007 our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called home by our Heavenly Father. He has always desired to serve a mission for the Lord, now he has that opportunity. Arnold W. Arnesen was born October 16, 1916 to Otto and Zina Arnesen. Arnold was one of eight brothers and sisters, all preceding him in death, except for his younger brother Elmer. Married Gladys Butler on May 29, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a veteran of WWII. Our family is Eric Donna, Marsha, Roger, and Craig Stephanie; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Our father loved the gospel and spent his life serving in many capacities. His greatest calling was as a draftsman for the church in the Temple and Special Projects Division. His favorite pastime was playing golf with his friends once a week. He also loved nature and loved to take us as a family camping. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the Bountiful 28th Ward Chapel, 2385 South 200 West. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wednesday morning 9:45 -10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
