Audra Jo Barrett Pryanovich

March 15, 1977 — January 5, 2019

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!" -Hunter S. Thompson
-and also from Audra's Facebook after she was diagnosed with cancer
Audra Jo "Gypsy" Barrett Pryanovich took her last wild ride on Saturday, January 5th leaving us all feeling grateful to have shared part of the ride.
Her journey began March 15th 1977 and her beginning should have been an indicator to her family that they might want to buckle up for the whirlwind of love that was coming. She entered the world less than 30 minutes after her mother, Jeannie Huff, entered the LDS hospital.
She had the rare gift of loving without judgement and always encouraged people to live their own truth and let their light shine. Her arms and her home were always open to those of us who needed to remember that the world has room for all of us. She held a special space in her heart for those who needed her the most, especially children. There are generations of children who were taught to love, laugh, dream and create with her as their guide.
Audra was the truest kind of artist-she had an intrinsic need to create. She painted, drummed, danced, wove, sculpted, and Mod Podged with reckless abandonment. She died wearing a Bob Ross tee shirt and would like to remind you there are no mistakes, just happy accidents.
Audra's greatest creation and finest masterpiece was her son, Daylon Barrett, her "shiny penny", her reason for being and her best friend. He, along with her husband Adam Pryanovich, have been Audra's foundation of strength and reasons for joy. Adam was and always be Audra's champion and soul mate. Their love is truly the stuff of legends.
Audra was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannie Huff. She is survived by her son Daylon Barrett, husband Adam Pryanovich, father Joe Huff, siblings Matthew (Kami) Huff, Tara (Dave) Cutts, and Ryan Huff, as well as countless friends and acquaintances.
In her last words she urged us all to "live hard, love harder". Her family and friends will live forever in the wake of her love and are invited to join us at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main in Bountiful on Wednesday evening, January 9, from 6-8 PM. Audra asked to have an additional celebration of her life that will happen this summer.
