Audrey Grace Terry Hagen, 91, died on December 5, 2018. She was born March 3, 1927, to Spencer Joyce Terry and Lizzie Dinsdale Terry in Ogden, Utah.
Her family moved to Little Heneford Valley, WA in 1937 where they farmed. She attended Boistfort High School. Her brother, Don and she worked on the farm and picked cascara bark and ferns for spending money. This developed her work ethic and independence.
Following graduation from high school in 1945, she moved to an apartment and worked at the Boeing Aircraft Company.
She met her husband, Lee, in high school and they dated on and off until he went in the Navy Air Corps during WWII.
Audrey and Lee were married June 19, 1947. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, in August of 1948.
They bought their first home in Chehalis. They had 3 daughters while in Washington.
They moved to Bountiful, UT, in 1957. They moved into their current home in 1959. They had their only son, Brent, in 1962.
In 1989, Lee and Audrey went on a mission to the Massachusetts Boston Mission.
Audrey served faithfully in many callings in the LDS church. She received a Silver Beaver for her years of service in scouting.
Her passions were family, gardening, puppetry, her greenhouse and attending DUP and garden club.
Audrey and Lee celebrated 68 years of loving marriage until Lee passed in 2015. I am sure they are glad to be reunited.
They loved traveling. Yearly vacations with their family in early years were great fun. Later Audrey and Lee traveled with friends and family many places across the globe.
Audrey is survived by her brother Don (Fran) Terry, her children, Terry (David) Mann, Jean Hagen, Susan Labrum, Brent (Janet Hagen); grandchildren, Jonathan (Crystal) Mann, Jennifer (Andy) Bentley, Spencer (Cynthia) Mann, Chris (Audrey) Mann, Jessica (Miles) Gillette, Josh (Kayla) Hagen, Nathan Labrum, Brian Labrum, Jackson Hagen, Jarren Hagen, Jayden Hagen and Journey Hagen, and great grandchildren, Atticus, Scarlett, Veronica, Bryson, Aiden, Addison, Kaitlyn, David, Charlie, Molly, Amelia, Daphne, Calvin, Tenzing, Adeline, and Asha.
The funeral service will be held at the LDS Chapel at 1540 North 400 East, Bountiful, at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 12th, where a viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to services.
