Barbara Morrison

Barbara ‘Joy’ Morrison left us unexpectedly on August 21st, 2013 after complications due to surgery. She was born to Harmon ‘Honk’ and Lovella Turner on August 26th, 1940 in Murray, Utah. To those who knew her, she was a remarkable, kind, and generous person. You would never leave her house with an empty stomach or without a tremendous hug. She was independent, and always enjoyed cooking, gardening, and watching as many John Wayne movies as she could. But family was the most important thing to Joy and she spent her days constantly filling their lives with light, laughter, and love. She leaves behind sons; Dennis James(Jane then Eric), Mark Shane(Sherry), grandchildren Sarahjane and Anthony and a sister, Sylvia. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Arlene Antczak, and Jeanette Cahill. Joy will be missed, but because we knew her, there will always be Joy. Honoring her wishes, family and friends celebrated her life, at her home in Bountiful, on August 24, 2013.
