Ben was born on July 15, 1964 in Salt Lake City. The third of four sons born to William Arthur and Jan Cooper Carden. Ben attended Viewmont High School and graduated in 1983. Ben lived a full life, and was loved by many in his community and church. He had a good attitude, and despite his physical trials, he accomplished so much.
