Biography

Benjamin Ross Wheeler, born July 8, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thurman W. And Bertha McQuiston Wheeler passed away February 17, 2012 in Woods Cross, Utah following a long battle with colon cancer. Graduated from Bountiful High School in May 1960. Worked at Hill Air Force Base for 37 years retiring in January 2004. Married Karin Dorane Orn May 25, 1962 and later divorced in 1970. Two children from this marriage are Sharon Wheeler and Victor Wheeler who were later adopted by Ben’s parents. Ben married Frances K. Allred December 22, 1973 and divorced 30 years later. The children left behind from this marriage are Amy Marie Morrow, Ann Frances Moulton, and Benjamin Vernon Wheeler along with three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Woods Cross 11th Ward, 1335 W. 1500 S. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment – Bountiful City Cemetery.
