CENTERVILLE-Berk Galloway passed away May 31, 2014 from natural causes while residing at the Veteran’s Care Center. Berk was born December 12, 1928 on a farm in Dayton, Idaho, the fifth of ten children born to Harold and Orilla Galloway. After serving an LDS mission in the New England States, he served in the military during the Korean conflict. He retired from the Davis County School District, after working there thirty years.
He is survived by two of his children: Ann Marie and Richard; their mother, Sarah Beth; two sisters: Elizabeth Green and Valeen Thomassen; and one brother, LaVel Galloway; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his son, Ferrin, his parents, and six siblings.
A viewing will be held at the Centerville LDS Church, 270 North 300 East at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014. Interment will be in the Centerville City Cemetery.
