Bernhard Monroe Moth Iversen

January 28, 1943 — May 15, 2019

Bernhard Monroe Moth Iversen peacefully passed away from a decline in his health on Wednesday May 15, 2019 surrounded by his children and family. He was born January 28, 1943 to Monroe and Flora Iversen in Murray Utah. Bernard “Montie” loved the outdoors and spent much of his time camping, hunting, and fishing in his “Green Boat” with family and friends. We will always remember his frequent invitation, “Let’s go fishing”.  He also had a love for working with hunting dogs and mules.  He always had a positive outlook and wanted to brighten someone’s day wherever he went. He fought many battles throughout his life but always had a strong testimony of his savior Jesus Christ. Throughout his life he ran several small businesses and always had an entrepreneurial spirit.

He is preceded in death by his parents Monroe & Flora Iversen and brother Thomas Iversen. He is survived by his wife Joyce Goff Iversen (1967-1998) Christina Marie Tarancon (2017 – Current). Siblings Janet (Lynn) Behm, Leonard Iversen, Cherry (Daryl) Bonzo. Children Jason (Brandi) Iversen, Natoshia Iversen, Aaron (Tiffany) Iversen, and Amanda (Shawn) Clay. Grandchildren Tyasha, Colton, Elijah, Kyle, Lindsey, Kyler, Eva, Kaylee, Elise, and Ezri. Great grandchildren Angel, and Athena.

Funeral Services for  will be held Thursday May 23, 2019 Time 11:00 AM, at the  LDS Meeting House: 4635 South Lanark Road, Salt Lake City Utah 84124

Interment – Salt Lake City, Cemetery (immediately following funeral service),  Dedication of the Grave: Jason Monroe Moth Iversen (Son)

 Luncheon – LDS Meeting House: 4635 South Lanark Road, Salt Lake City Utah 84124  (After Interment)
