Bernice Austin Dillingham

December 16, 1929 — September 17, 2015

Bernice Austin Dillingham, 85, returned home peacefully to her loving Heavenly Father, on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at home, with loving family by her side.  Bernice was born in Salt Lake City on December 16, 1929 to Mark and Beatrice Austin.

Bernice married her sweetheart, Leslie Walter Dillingham, on June 21, 1952, in Wickenburg, Arizona.   Les, Bernice and their children became an eternal family on June 21, 1968, on their 16th wedding anniversary, in the St. George Temple.

Bernice was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served valiantly in many callings and loved working with her sweet husband in the Bountiful Temple for many years.  Bernice was the perfect example of charity and exemplified Christ in her every action.

Bernice is survived by her children, Michael (Renee), Marc (Peggy), Kathy (Ken) Downs and Lisa (Kevin) Bunderson.  Les and Bernice enjoyed many things together but most of all loved spending time with their children, their 19 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kaysville 4th Ward Chapel, 875 East 200 North, Kaysville, UT.  Viewings will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N Main, Farmington, UT and from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services in Kaysville.
