Bernie Eyler Clark

November 24, 1930 — December 11, 2015

Burneta Louise Eyler Clark was born on November 24, 1930 in Rexburg, ID. She passed away on December 11, 2015 in Farmington, UT. Bernie is the daughter of Orris and Burneta Eyler. She grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended Idaho State University and Brigham Young University, majoring in secretarial training and business – skills she would use all of her life. While living at the Beehive House, she accepted a special calling as a Sunday School teacher at Primary Children's Hospital. This calling prepared her for the future – raising her special needs son, Mark. She met Richard Ray Clark, and on August 24, 1956 they were married in the Idaho Falls Temple. They settled in Pocatello, Idaho and later raised their family of 6 boys in Bountiful, Utah. Bernie's greatest joy was her family. She loved reading, sewing, calligraphy, roses, working in the Bountiful Temple, and serving others. She loved working with the youth as a secretary at Viewmont High School and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother Robert (Ruby) Eyler; sister in law Susan Eyler; sons Mark, Brent (Heather), Scott (Dawn), Paul (Judie), David (Karolee), and Craig (Jamie); 16 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 in the LDS Chapel at 374 South 200 West, Farmington, UT. Viewings will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday December 17 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, and 1 hour prior to the funeral (at the church). Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Bountiful.
