Bert G. Manwill

Bert G. Manwill, 92, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his son Gary’s home in Bountiful Utah. 

Born February 21, 1925 in Koosharem, Utah to Eldon and Eva Manwill.  He married Mona Lee Tuttle June 27, 1945.  Together they had two son’s Gary and Richard.  Mona Lee passed away October 13, 1991.  Bert married Barbara Christensen July 9, 1992 and inherited three wonderful step-daughters Kathy, Claudia, and Nanette.    

Bert was a bill poster and worked for several outdoor advertising companies.  Bert was a very hard worker throughout his life. 

Bert was a quiet, loving, and kind husband, father, and grandfather.  He enjoyed fishing and camping. He enjoyed his friendships with his son-in-law’s Don and Bill who were always there for him.  One of his greatest joys was spending time with his dog Mitzi.  A special thank you to his loving wife Barbara for the love, companionship, and care she gave to him the past 25 years. 

Preceded in death by his wife Mona Lee, son Richard, his step-daughter Nanette, his grandson Dax, and step-grandson Adam.

Viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday, February 19, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street Bountiful, Utah.   A family service and celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m.
