Bessie Kerr

Our dear Sweet Mom and Granny age 96 returned home to our Father in Heaven escorted by the many angels who preceded her in death and loved her. We try to imagine the sweet reunion upon her arrival. We know that it was glorious to her.
Bessie was born and raised in Warren, Utah. Her loving family includes her eternal companion Jack W Kerr, parents Melbourne and Delilah Wade, brother Lawrence Wade, sisters Roberta and Wanda, son-in- law Rick Bastian, grandchildren Travis and Desiree Bastian, all who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Owen Wade, daughters JoLeigh Kerr, Darhyl Kerr and KayeLynn Bastian (Ted Peck) and son Gregory W Kerr (Sandy), grandchildren Chelsa Johnson (Jeff), Cody Bastian (Katie) and Tyler Bastian (Jessica), Heather, Misty, Trevor, Ashley, Dusty and Tesha Kerr and 9 great grandchildren.
She loved teaching and serving the youth as an elementary teacher for 28 years and as a young women’s president in her church along with many other callings. She served as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple for many years. She loved outdoors, nature, reading, dancing with Jack and spending hours working on genealogy. Her kind and loving spirit spread to all those she came in contact with as she taught us by example how to love. We will all miss her love, example and support.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday October 29th from 6-8 PM at Russon Brother’s Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington, Utah and Thursday October 30th from 9:30 -10:30 AM at the Centerville North Stake Center, 1461 North Main Centerville, which will be followed by the Funeral Services at 11:00 AM.
Interment at Centerville City Cemetery.
