Beth Haslam Jessop

October 29, 1934 — August 15, 2016

Bountiful/Millville – Beth Haslam Jessop escaped to the Heavens on August 15, 2016. Beth was born October 29, 1934.  64 years ago she married the Catch of Cache County, Cloyd Jessop. Loving wife, caring mom, her grandkids "Biggest Fan", Sweet Aunt, and best friend will live forever in our hearts. She is now golfing, bowling, and free to do all of the things she loved.  During her life she enjoyed so much; UHBA Ladies Auxiliary President, visiting teacher, school lunch lady, golf/bowling partner, storybook teller, Avon lady, excellent cook and reading stories to grandkids. Her family was her greatest treasure, she led an amazing family where love and support is strong. Even as her body aged her mind and unconditional love grew stronger for those around her. She was the life of the party and not afraid to shake it and "liked big butts."  For 64 years she kept Grandpa under her thumb/cane because someone had to do it.  Family get-togethers were the best with Grandma dressed up as a Pirate, Ballerina, Grandma's got a Shotgun Hillbilly, Wonder Woman, Reindeer, or just Herself-A Roll Model, An Angel. Beth is survived by her husband Cloyd Jessop, Children Jay (Charyn), Randy(Pam), Carl(Chris), Jimmy(Val), Kevin, finally the girl-Peggy(Jeff), and oops-Pattie(Jerry). 17 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter.
A viewing will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6pm-8pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.  Graveside Services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 in the Millville Cemetery at 11am.
