Beth Kirkham

Our sweet, gentle mother, Beth Manning Kirkham, left this earth to join her sweetheart Bob on Sunday, February 2, 2007 of causes incident to age. Beth was born October 27, 1920, in Murtaugh, Idaho, to David Henry and Elizabeth Thompson Manning, the third of six daughters. She married Robert Stoddart Kirkham February 19, 1942, in the Salt Lake Temple. She served faithfully for many years in the Primary and Relief Society, and also served a full-time mission with her husband at the Family History Library. She loved her children, she loved her sisters, and she especially loved Bob. Beth is survived by her four children, Gordon Tamara Kirkham, Barbara Arthur Colton, Debra David Hatch, Karen Stephen Tuft, sisters Hazel Hartmann, Margaret Ruth White, Marilyn Hollon, Carilyn Stenquist, 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Robert, parents, and sister Jessie Cooke. Viewing will be held Thursday, December 6, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bountiful 28th Ward, 2285 South 200 West, Bountiful, with an additional viewing at the chapel from 11:45 to 12:45. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Romaine Tuft, Alice Reis, and the entire staff at Hazen Care Center. You are truly angels on earth.
