Beth Louise Ray

Beth Louise Zabriskie Ray was born December 27, 1930 and returned to her Heavenly Father the morning of August 6, 2013 after a valiant battle with Alzheimers.
Beth married the love of her life, Norman Joseph Ray on June 12, 1964. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Beth was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many church callings. She loved doing temple work, including record extraction. She owned and operated several small businesses in her lifetime and served in the Bountiful Chamber of Commerce.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her eternal companion and ten of her siblings, as well as a son, a daughter-in-law, son-in-law and two grandchildren.
Beth is survived by her brother, Charles Zabriskie; and her children: Colleen Pearson, Calvin Howard Ray, Sr., Joyce Louise Ray, Joseph Ray and Thelma Jo Ray. She has 26 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.
We wish to thank Silverado Senior Living and Westside Community Nursing Center for their loving and compassionate care of Beth during the last 16 months of her life.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment-Elysian Gardens.
