Beth Brown Stevenson Millerberg passed away on August 31st, 2013 from natural causes. Born in Bountiful, Utah to William Andrews Brown and Lucy Briggs on February 26th 1930, she was a life-long Bountiful resident. While attending Davis High School, Beth worked at the J.C. Penney Store on Main Street in Bountiful where she met her eternal companion Donald Painter Stevenson. The two were married on September 3rd, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. After ten years of marriage and three children, Gayle, Kurt, and Todd, Beth was widowed after Don passed away in 1958. In 1964 Beth met Gordon Millerberg, also a widower, at an LDS social group in Memory Grove. Six weeks later they married on November 10th, 1964. The combined family included Beth's children as well as Gordon's daughter, Alice Kae, and later came two sons, Michael and Mark. Beth enjoyed over forty-four happy years with Gordon as they watched their family grow to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Gordon passed away in 2008.
A dedicated member of the LDS church, Beth served in many callings including Relief Society President, primary teacher, and den mother. A skilled artisan, she loved to crochet and cross-stitch, and often used her talents to benefit others. Beth was a graduate of Davis High School and attended the Univ. of Utah. Gordon and Beth loved to travel with their trailer, spending time with each other and with their family. Beth was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. She was an example of perseverance and endurance, and her tenacious spirit and quick wit endeared family and friends throughout her life. She will be missed as she continues her mission on the other side of the veil.
Beth is survived by her children, Gayle (Bob) Ard, Kurt (Val) Stevenson, Todd (Debra) Stevenson, Alice Kae (Vic) Erickson, Michael (Julie) Millerberg, Mark (Heidi) Millerberg.
