Beth Weaver Fadel

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away December 22, 2016 in Bountiful, Utah.
She was born May 1, 1924 in Layton, Utah to David Christopher Weaver and Sophia Dickson Weaver. She was educated in Davis County, graduating from Davis High School in 1942. She attended the University of Utah for two years.
She married Melic Kelly Fadel on March 6, 1944. They were blessed with four children: Melic K. Fadell II (Rebecca), MiKell Forsyth (Moe), ReNee Moncur (Dean), David Fadel (Tammy). Survived by 18 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melic K. Fadel; parents, brothers, Louis D. Weaver, Kaysville, William D. Weaver, Clearfield, A. Grant Weaver, Ogden, Ronald D. Weaver, Roy, Max D. Weaver, Orem and Donald D. Weaver, Layton.
She worked along with her husband in establishing Fadel’s Fine Furnishings in Salt Lake City. She also was an employee of ZCMI.
She was the PTA President and served in the organization for a number of years. She worked as a missionary at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for 12 years. She was a temple worker at the Salt Lake Temple and the Bountiful Temple. She was a very accomplished artist. Throughout her life she held a number of positions in the LDS Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Heights Ward, 33 South Moss Hill Drive, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Wednesday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
