Our beloved Bette, age 85, passed away peacefully at home in Bountiful, UT, on April 5, 2017. She was born in Murray, UT, on October 7, 1931, to Francis Franklyn and Alice Ova Johnson Hunt. She married Joseph Orson Eggett Jr. on October 14, 1949, in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with 4 children. She was an exceptional cook who enjoyed catering weddings and other events for friends and family. Her delicious pies, cakes, rolls, and homemade bread were greatly appreciated and enjoyed by the many recipients of her nearly daily compassionate service. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served diligently in numerous callings, including Relief Society president on several occasions, Stake Young Women president, and temple worker in the Bountiful Utah Temple. Her legacy of service to others will long be remembered and will live on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all who knew her. After 44 beautiful years of marriage, her first husband, Joe, passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving morning in 1993. She loved her family and enjoyed having all of her children as neighbors. She later served a wonderful mission in Independence Missouri from 2001-2002. Soon thereafter she married Boyd Rohwer on September 20, 2002. They were happily married for more than 14 years and were a marvelous example to all who knew them. She is survived by her loving husband, Boyd, her four children; Connie (Ted) Woolley, Terry (Colleen) Eggett, Randy (Shauna) Eggett, and Bette Jo (Dave) Erickson; her sister, Genette Williams, her brother, Frank (Marie) Hunt, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to Joe, she was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dennis Hunt, and her sisters Darlyn Dandoy and Francyne Hoye.
